has anyone mentioned/noticed the forfeit of Mycroft’s diet via large snack tray on his table yet?
Introducing the talents of Stranger 2, the one-man acting group who manages to squeeze EVERY FUCKING CHARACTER into the space of one conversation.
Also, the entire time it said “Stranger 1 is typing” but nothing ever came up. IT BASICALLY DROVE ME INSANE, GUYS.
OH MY GOD GUYS. That just created a magnificent connection in my head, seeing those two together.
They definately look similar. If not the same. Not to mention, it is a somewhat strange choice of eyewear, especially for Lestrade, who is inside.
Moriarty is seen wearing them in ASiB, but we know due to Mycroft’s offhand ‘desperate for attention’ comment, and the end of THoB that shows Moriarty captured, it is possible Moriarty was wearing them when he was taken into custody. Perhaps Mycroft took them?
And Mycroft calls upon Lestrade to ‘babysit’ his younger brother in THoB. Judging by the scene, could it be true that Mycroft gave them to Lestrade? If anything, seeing him with Moriarty’s glasses would be a huge foreshadowing to the end of THoB, and incredibly clever writing.
So, Sunglasses go:
Moriarty —-> Confiscated by Mycroft
Confiscated by Mycroft ———> Given to Lestrade (reason unknown)
Given to Lestrade ——> Worn in scene as epic foreshadowing
Is it safe to assume that by the time Lestrade shows up in THoB, we can see that Moriarty is captured?
Not to mention, if that were true, the absolute deliciousness that would mean for all you Mystrade fans out there. ;D
